𝑆culpture entered his life in the early 1990s, in a context of deep personal instability.
It was not born from a carefully considered project, but imposed itself on him, involuntarily, as a direct reflection of his present.
It immediately became a path, one into which he threw himself body and soul.
Self-taught, he works with iron, a raw, living material filled with energies, which he transforms into expressive forms in which he gives life to feelings and emotions.
Based in Collioure, he developed his first works.
Following an exhibition in the town, he received a major commission from the church: the creation of a high altar and a Christ on the cross. His work then took on a profoundly symbolic, sacred dimension.
Faced with a new situation - the birth of his first child - and in order to ensure the well-being and safety of his family, he made the difficult choice to step away from sculpture. He accepted this sacrifice and left the south to move to Grenoble.
There, strengthened by a CAP in plumbing obtained in his youth, he founded his own business as a craftsman.
Within a few years, the activity prospered: he became the head of a company of around twenty employees, built through his work and discipline.
He had then abandoned the idea of one day returning to sculpture, putting a part of his being aside, on standby.
Despite this success, he did not feel in his place in that world. His work then had only one meaning: to ensure the well-being and stability of his family.
A new period of instability arose with the separation. This family framework, which had given meaning to everything, disappeared.
He then completely lost his bearings and the sense of his place in the world.
Then creation reappeared in a saving way, a second time.
He began to draw in his company. Little by little, a work emerged, like a revelation of the present. The process acted as a reflection, a medium - almost a crystal ball - where the unconscious expressed itself and revealed itself as a last resort.
It was at this moment that art regained all its light and all its power, becoming a guide once again.
Once more, the unbreakable bond came back to life. Once more, this fire, this light, animated all his passion.
For the second time, this path imposed itself on him as a reason for being. He left everything behind, sold his company, and took to the road without any precise destination.
He returned to the south of France, where it had all begun, and devoted himself fully to sculpture.
Today, his work is part of this continuity: a free, inhabited expression, where matter becomes language.
“I approach sculpture as a universal and timeless expression, by letting the material speak.”
